Dental implants
Straumann, placed by the surgeon herself
An implant is surgery before it is a tooth. Here the person doing that surgery is an oral surgeon with more than fifteen years of it behind her, so the assessment, the placement and anything difficult that follows stay with one clinician. The implant itself is Straumann in every case, because the parts have to still be made in fifteen years when the crown on top needs replacing. Most cases run three to six months from the screw going in to the final crown, and you are not left with a visible gap while you wait.
